Artist Talk: "I made a pact with painting."
Rosylne Smith
Ros Smith graduated in Graphic Design in South Africa and worked in the television industry until 2001, when she moved to the USA. She started painting part-time and has now pivoted to full-time artist.
Ros’s work is vibrant, textural and full of movement, with a rich, expressionistic style. “Art is my visual diary" she says, and her emotive abstracts are inspired by her travels across the globe, visiting friends and family.
It is these memories that she brings to life in her home studio and gallery in Deerfield, Illinois. Ros exhibits across the USA with collectors worldwide.
